DrLeadFoot
steam vents?! I installed my m52 from underneath. I think i like doing it that way better than ramming the engine hoist into the ceiling. Im guessing you are using a Sikky swap kit? Sikky kit with their aluminum drive shaft and stainless 1 7/8" headers and other bits. Hopefully I can get some time in the garage this weekend.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

DrLeadFoot
Picked up new HD control arms, e46 ZHP steering rack, tie-rods, bushing for the treehouse control arm mounts and the CATuned coilovers should be back from getting welded up soon.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk Jdesign

I believe the zhp rack is nearly as quick as the the z3 but doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, and is easier to find. They also came in some non zhp e46s as well. If I end up replacing the rack in my car when I do the lines this year, it’s probably what I’m going to get. DrLeadFoot
From my limited reading it is not as twitchy as the Z3 rack but still quick. I was looking for something that wasn't totally annoying to drive on the freeway for road trips. DrLeadFoot
Working on the steam vent routing on the 4 corners of the heads. This MSD intake is BIG. PCV routing is next up on the to do list after the steam vents.Anyone know of a good, low profile product to put in the trans tunnel for noise/heat shielding? Something with adhesive backing would be great.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
GunMetalGrey
Dynamat for your tunnel! I enjoy your shiny things! Steam vents are still odd to me... DrLeadFoot

DrLeadFoot
It moves!Between family time and work obligations I was able to bust my ass and get this thing buttoned up!RawSpeed over in Butler did the exhaust and intake for me. Jake does AMAZING work! The intake is 4" aluminium with an LS7 MAF.The exhaust is Sikky 1 7/8" stainless steel headers to 3" stainless steel duals to a "Y" that merges into a single 3.5" stainless steel resonator then goes to 3.5" titanium and ends with a 3.5" titanium resonator with a slash cut to end. It sounds amazing and cannot wait for more seat time.Late Model Throttle got it aligned yesterday and will be tuning it today/tonight!
